The Things They Carried

 Chapter 1: After reading the first chapter, I can say that I have never been so annoyed in my life. The author keeps bringing up things that the crew carries, naming guns I’ve never heard of and weird objects each crew memeber possesses. After a few pages, the list of things each crew member possesses got very repetitive, boring and the teams became hard to remember. So far, I’ve learned that Lieutenant Jimmy Cross is a creep and is madly inlove with this girl named Martha. I’ve also learned that the objects that each person possesses is to distract them from the reality of war. I hope that this book gets better because I do not want to read a boring book. 🙃
